Plain-English data guide

How we handle data.

What DrillGrid currently collects, what can be public, what stays private and the choices you have.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

This page is a practical summary of how DrillGrid Boxing currently handles information. The complete legal explanation is in the Privacy Notice. If this summary and the Privacy Notice differ, the Privacy Notice takes precedence.

DrillGrid is being built as a useful, collaborative second brain for boxing coaches and clubs. We aim to collect only the information needed to provide, protect and improve the features that are actually available.

Information we currently collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, account type and confirmation that you are aged 16 or over.
  • Optional profile information: details such as a profile photo, biography and club connection when you choose to add them.
  • Coaching and community activity: submitted drills and videos, likes, saved drills, collections, session plans, shared-link activity and private club-to-club responses you choose to create.
  • Club information: public club details, training information, links, updates and evidence used to review a listing or claim.
  • Communication choices: whether you separately agreed to receive optional marketing emails and the information needed to respect that choice.
  • Technical and security information: information needed to deliver the site, diagnose faults, protect accounts and prevent misuse.

What can be public

Approved drills, video links, club pages, events, updates and noticeboard posts are public. A contributor name, club attribution, profile detail or club connection is public only where the site explains this and the relevant person chooses or authorises that visibility.

Before submitting public content, do not include personal information that is unnecessary or that you would not want published.

What stays private

Your email address, authentication information, unfinished drafts, saved drills, private collections, club-verification evidence, private contact details and internal moderation information are not intended to appear on public pages. Session plans remain private unless you deliberately create a read-only sharing link. Club-to-club responses are visible only to authorised managers of the two clubs and DrillGrid administrators.

Passwords are handled by the account provider and are not displayed to DrillGrid administrators. Access to private member and administration features is controlled through account permissions and database security rules.

Who helps us operate DrillGrid

  • Supabase provides authentication, database and file-storage services.
  • Vercel hosts and delivers the website.
  • AWeber receives the name and email needed for marketing only when you separately choose to join email updates.

DrillGrid does not sell personal data. The site uses essential browser storage for sign-in, security, site preferences and remembering a referral code during a visit. A shared link may record that it was opened and led to a useful DrillGrid action, such as copying a plan or responding to a notice. This is first-party product measurement—not cross-site advertising tracking. If optional analytics or other non-essential technology is introduced, we will update the relevant information and consent controls before using it.

Your choices and control

  • Choose whether optional profile and club connections are publicly visible where that option is provided.
  • Choose how an approved drill is attributed, including anonymous publication where offered.
  • Choose whether to create a read-only session-plan link. Shared links expire automatically.
  • Do not opt in to marketing, or unsubscribe later using the link in a marketing email.
  • Ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, subject to any legal exceptions.
  • Contact us if public information exposes unnecessary personal details or creates a safety concern.

For a data request or privacy question, email andrew@zoogly.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children and young people

DrillGrid accounts are for people aged 16 or over. Public boxing content may feature people under 18, so contributors and clubs remain responsible for the permissions and safeguarding arrangements required to publish it. We may refuse or remove material where consent, context or safety is unclear.

New features and new uses of information

If DrillGrid introduces a feature that requires additional information or changes who can see it, we will explain this before collecting that information and update our privacy documentation where necessary. We will not quietly reuse information for a materially different purpose.

Questions or concerns

Read the full Privacy Notice, or use Raise a concern if something published on DrillGrid appears unsafe, inaccurate, inappropriate or unnecessarily exposes personal information.
