DrillGrid Boxing is built for boxers, coaches, clubs and fans. These guidelines explain what we expect, what is not allowed and how we respond to safety and safeguarding concerns.
They work alongside the Terms of Use. If there is a conflict, the Terms of Use take precedence.
The community we are building
Boxing demands respect for opponents, coaches, clubs and the sport itself. DrillGrid should reflect that. It is a place to share practical knowledge, support clubs and help boxers improve. Beginners and experienced coaches should both feel welcome.
What we expect
- Be honest and accurate about who you are, your club link and what you submit.
- Disagree without bullying, threatening or humiliating people.
- Give credit and obtain permission before sharing someone else’s work.
- Have the necessary consent for every person shown or identified in content.
- Take extra care with children, young people and anyone who may be vulnerable.
- Share coaching ideas responsibly and avoid presenting unsafe practice as instruction.
Prohibited behaviour
The following may lead to content removal and account action:
- Bullying, harassment or threats: targeting, intimidating or repeatedly pressuring another person or organisation.
- Hate and discrimination: attacking or demeaning people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or another protected characteristic.
- Sexual content or exploitation: explicit content, sexual harassment, intimate images without consent, grooming or any sexualisation of children.
- Private information: publishing someone’s address, phone number, workplace or other private details without permission.
- Dangerous or illegal material: content that promotes crime, serious harm, fraud, abuse, weapons misuse or reckless training practice.
- Impersonation and manipulation: pretending to represent a boxer, coach or club, falsely claiming authority, or misleading people for personal gain.
- Spam and technical misuse: unwanted promotion, malware, attempts to bypass access controls or activity that disrupts the service.
Child safeguarding
DrillGrid Boxing does not provide private messaging. Adults must not use the site, club pages or information found here to arrange inappropriate private contact with a child or young person. Grooming, exploitation and any content that harms or sexualises a child are strictly prohibited.
If you believe someone is using DrillGrid Boxing to harm or target a child, email andrew@zoogly.co.uk immediately. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first. Where appropriate, concerns should also be reported to the relevant club safeguarding officer, governing body or child-protection authority.
Clubs and coaches remain responsible for their own safeguarding policies, checks, consent records, supervision and reporting duties. DrillGrid Boxing does not oversee in-person sessions and is not a substitute for a club’s safeguarding arrangements.
Images and videos involving under-18s
Before submitting an image or video involving anyone under 18, you must be satisfied that publication is appropriate, that the club’s safeguarding procedures have been followed and that the permissions required from the young person and a parent or guardian are in place. Do not include unnecessary personal details, private schedules, home addresses or information that could expose a child to risk.
We may refuse or remove content involving a child whenever identity, consent, context or safety is unclear.
Reporting a concern
Raise a concern using the dedicated reporting guidance.
Email andrew@zoogly.co.uk with what happened, where it appears and any relevant username or page link. Include screenshots only where it is safe and lawful to do so. We will review reports as soon as reasonably practical, but may be unable to share private details about the action taken.
Copyright reports
If you believe content infringes your copyright or another intellectual property right, email us with:
- Your name and contact details.
- A description of the work you own or represent.
- The exact DrillGrid page or content you believe infringes it.
- Why you believe the use is unauthorised.
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate.
We may ask for proof of ownership or authority and may remove or restrict the material while a valid report is assessed.
Moderation and enforcement
We may review, refuse, edit for presentation, unpublish or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these guidelines, the Terms of Use, safeguarding standards or the law, or where action is needed to protect people or the site.
We may warn, restrict, suspend or close an account. We aim to act proportionately and explain significant action where practical. Serious safeguarding, safety, security or legal concerns may require immediate action without prior notice. There is no automatic right to publication.
If you believe a decision was made in error, email us with the relevant details and we will review it.
