Setup
- Pair boxers as A and B
- Start at technical pace, complete the sequence, reset, then swap roles
Run it

- B defends and must land one clean counter before reset

No passive defending. Defend to score. Check the purpose: makes every defence produce an answer.
Scale it
Advanced: B must counter two and exit.
Common faults
- Rushing the drill
- overreaching
- standing still after punching
- or trying to win the drill instead of learning the skill
Amateur relevance
Clean visible contact, immediate answer after defence, and a composed exit help the boxer look in control.
Use it
Run at rhythm pace first, then add one layer: speed, movement, counter, exit or coach call.
